RetroRipper (BlenderRetroRipper)
PocketRipper's ripping workflow, inside Blender 5.2.
Open a photographed surface in the Image Editor, click its four corners, and RetroRipper straightens the perspective quad into a clean texture — stored as a packed image datablock inside the currently open .blend, not on disk.
Install
Blender 5.2 (or 4.2+): Get Extensions → Install from Disk → select this
folder (or a zip of blender_manifest.toml, __init__.py, ripper_math.py).
Use
- Image Editor →
Image→Opena photo. - Sidebar (N) → RetroRipper →
Rip Texture. - Click the four corners of the surface — the 4th click closes the quad and a live preview of the straightened texture appears in the corner. Drag any corner to adjust until it looks right.
- Press Confirm Rip in the sidebar (or
Enter).Backspaceremoves a corner,Esccancels. The result<image>_ripis packed into the .blend — just save the file.
