PocketRipper

PocketRipper is a lightweight Android app for creating textures from photos.

It provides two focused workflows:

  • Tiling — crop, adjust color, and make the photo seamlessly tileable with three selectable algorithms: Mirror (kaleidoscope, simple patterns), Blend (GIMP-style soft cross-fade across the seam — clouds, sand, sky), and Cut (minimum-error seam path that keeps detail sharp — grass, gravel, bark). A tiled 3×3 preview shows the result before export.
  • Ripping — place a four-point perspective guide over a photographed surface and straighten it into a clean texture.

PocketRipper includes brightness, contrast, and color controls, a magnified corner preview for precise perspective editing, session recovery, and PNG export.
